The mission of Eugene Bible College is to glorify God through biblically-based college education that disciples and equips servants of Jesus Christ to become life-long learners who offer effective and relevant Spirit-filled ministry and leadership in the Church and the world.

Course Description:
This is an introductory course designed to help you identify, construct, analyze and evaluate arguments. Mastering these skills will help you to be able to better read and understand material in your other courses, as well as in the media. These skills will also help you to write more effectively.
Course Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this course the student will be able to:
· Describe the standards for critical thinking
· Identify concepts, propositions, deductive and deductive arguments, informal fallacies
· Construct, analyze, and evaluate deductive and inductive arguments
· Demonstrate improvement in reading comprehension and writing skills
Required Texts:
You will notice that I have not required you to purchase a textbook. That is because this class will use internet, handout and reserve items. You are required to check this blog weekly for material and updates.
